【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversfree-machiningferriticstainlesssoftmagneticalloyproducedorsuppliedexpresslyincold-finishedbarformforuseinmagneticcoresandotherpartsrequiringahighpermeability,low-coercivitystainlesssteel.1.1.1Thisspecificationdoesnotcovereithercastpartsorpartsproducedbypowdermetallurgytechniques.1.2Twospecificalloytypesarecovered.TheprimaryconstituentsareshowninTable1.ThesetypeshavecorrosionresistancesimilartoAISIType430FandType430F,SpecificationA582/A582M.1.3Thisspecificationcoversonlythesealloytypessuppliedincold-finishedbarsincross-sectionalshapessuchasrounds,squares,hexagons,andoctagonswithdiameters(diagonals)greaterthanorequalto0.250in.(6.35mm)andlessthanorequalto1.625in.(41.28mm).1.4Certaincold-finishedroundbarproductsarecapableofbeingsuppliedmillannealedtorequiredmagneticpropertiessuchaslowcoercivity.Thesizerangethatcanbemillannealedisfrom0.250to1.625in.(6.35to41.28mm).Otherproductsofthesealloyscannotbemillannealedtoproduceequivalentlylowcoercivity;hence,thefinalmachinedpartsshouldbeheattreatedasrecommendedbytheproducer.1.5Thevaluesstatedincustomary(cgs-emuandinch-pound)unitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitswhichareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.
