【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthephysicalandmagneticcharacteristicsofan8mmwidemagnetictapecartridgecontainingamemorychiptoenablephysicalinterchangeofsuchcartridgesbetweendrives.Italsospecifiesthequalityoftherecordedsignals,therecordingmethodandtherecordedformat-calledAdvancedIntelligentTapeNo.2withMemoryInCartridge(AIT-2withMIC)-therebyallowingdatainterchangebetweendrivesbymeansofsuchmagnetictapecartridges.TheSystemLogarerecordedintheMIC.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwotypesofcartridgedependingonthethicknessofthemagnetictapecontainedinthecase.Informationinterchangebetweensystemsalsorequires,ataminimum,agreementbetweentheinterchangepartiesupontheinterchangecode(s)andthespecificationsofthestructureandlabellingoftheinformationontheinterchangedcartridge.
